GRRRRR!!!
So the camera that we've been using is a canon elph, a fabulous wedding gift from my siblings, and it's been awesome. Until this:

I would suggest sending it back to canon, they have great customer service. If it is still under warranty, they will fix it. If they will charge you to fix it, it might be better to just replace it. Good Luck
